How and where we work

We are happy to see you wherever you feel most comfortable. We can see you in your own home, residential or nursing home, school, college, or another venue in the community. If you prefer to be seen within a clinic environment, we can use an accessible clinic room with a tracking hoist and disabled toilet facilities in Knaresborough.

We work with other practitioners (as required) to optimise your care. We are happy to liaise with your GP and/or Consultant(s), other NHS health professionals, community care or residential care staff, your family and supporters.

Areas we cover: Harrogate and Leeds postcodes. York postcodes on request.

A common myth..

“ You can’t have an NHS Physiotherapist as well as a Private Physiotherapist”

This is simply not the case. The CSP have advised that patients who choose to be treated privately are entitled to NHS services on exactly the same basis of clinical need as any other patient and should not have NHS treatment withdrawn or refused because they also have private care.

For further information see this link for guidance from the CSP.

Individuals can choose to have private physiotherapy as well as NHS Physiotherapy input if they wish to. We are more than happy to work together with statutory services to support and augment what they can provide and always make sure that we are working towards the same goals collaboratively.
