About Me
Hello my name is Lauren, I’m a friendly private community physiotherapist providing holistic and person-centred physiotherapy care for children and adults with neurological conditions and additional support needs in Harrogate and Leeds.
I offer a holistic ‘hands-on’ approach including therapeutic massage, stretches and facilitated movement (also known as Bobath therapy) for clients with movement difficulties, as well as Hydrotherapy (Aquatic Physiotherapy) and Disability Swimming.
I’ve been a Physiotherapist for over 16 years and have worked with people with Neurological Conditions, such as MS, Stroke, Acquired Brain Injury, Parkinson’s Disease and Cerebral Palsy throughout my career in the NHS, Charitable and Private Sectors.
I support my clients to achieve their individual goals through physical activity that’s meaningful to them.
My focus isn’t just on ‘recovery’ or ‘healing,’ but on promoting wellness and quality of life. Sometimes preventing or slowing deterioration can be just as important for the individual.
